The huge kitchen is beautifully crafted from recycled rimu, and is a pleasure to use.
The large open plan lounge area has a wonderful outlook through picture windows over magnificent trees and housing.
The dining room seats at least eight people around a beautiful antique kauri dining table. French doors open from the dining room onto the large private & quiet decking area. This area is fully fenced and surrounded by trees and gardens.
A large double bedroom has French doors opening onto the deck.

Summary: This is a great place to stay in Hamilton. Just across the river from the CBD and only about a 2 minute walk from the river. House was very quiet and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with required equipment, plus our host left us fruit juice, bread, milk and condiments on our arrival. The house has a beautiful courtyard that is very private. The beds were comfortable and the living areas spacious. Our host, who lives downstairs, was really friendly and helpful, even lending us a picnic blanket for one of our day trips. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If we return to Hamilton, we know where to stay!!
